Expecting a baby in the Netherlands?

Whether you've recently moved to the Netherlands or have been living here for years, preparing for birth in a different healthcare system can feel unfamiliar.

I know that feeling.

When I was expecting my first child, I was living abroad myself, in Berkeley California, USA. I experienced first-hand what it is like to navigate pregnancy, birth and maternity care in another country.

That's why my English HypnoBirthing classes are about more than breathing techniques. They help you understand the Dutch maternity care system, prepare for the birth with confidence, and give you practical tools to stay calm and informed throughout the process.

Your birth partner becomes your biggest source of support during labour.

Throughout the course you'll learn together how your partner can help you feel safe, calm and confident during birth.

Five sessions. In English. In your own home.

My English HypnoBirthing® Pregnancy course is offered as a private course in the comfort of your own home. Just you, your birth partner and me.

Over five sessions, we take the time to explore how birth works, what your options are and what feels right for you. And we don’t just talk about it, you’ll practise breathing, relaxation, visualisation and self-hypnosis together, so you will feel informed, confident and prepared as a team.

And because it’s a private course, there is plenty of space for your questions, your situation and the kind of birth you are hoping for.

Private course: €599

The price of the private course excludes travel expenses (€0.35/km) for locations outside Houten.

Check your supplementary health insurance, the course may be partially reimbursed.
